Summary of the project see website of this project, created by beneficiaries

ENOS (Practical and theoretical studies on new techniques in industrial automation systems), is planned to benefit to young workers/job seekers of new graduates (maximum one year of graduation) of ‘Industrial Automation’ programme of vocational schools of Mersin University. Among the applicants, who are eligible to represent Türkiye and Mersin University abroad, have satisfactory academic records and have at least one reference, 14 were selected by a ‘Selection Board’. Seven of them came to Poland.

The seven beneficaries of ENOS arrived in the evening of 5th November 2005 at the airport in Wroc³aw. They were picked up by our team and transported to their appartment.

Attention!!! They are from Turkey...On 6th November the group was taken for a guided tour through the city of Wroc³aw. They visited the modern centre as well as the old town, got to know the history of the city and the most popular places there.

During the first week Futurum organized an intensive English language course for the beneficiaries, because their language skills were insufficient to start the training in companies. The course was paid by Futurum. After having finished the course they were introduced by the companies, where they continued their placements. They were placed in the companies as follows:

In the next weeks beneficiaries continued working in their companies. They went to work every day for a maximum of seven hours. They were conducting tasks given to them by their tutors.

Umut Akgül, Mustafa Tezcan Kaçarci and Mehmet Çelik passed their placement at LEONI Kabel Polska Sp. z o.o.. During the stay they performed following tasks: practicing by programming Siemens S7 and LOGO PLC Microdrivers, connecting servomotors to motors controlling of solidity of ADC converters, fixing and repairing of electronic and mechanical breakdowns by machines used by a company

Mehmet Büyüktanir and Talip Arici worked in WABCO Polska Sp. z o.o.. They mainly dealt with assisting by a production band in a factory, testing of electronic parts of safety systems, transferring the results of tests to the computer, practicing with PLC and LOGO modules and preparing and assembling circuits for PCB cards.

Emin Gökduman and Abdil Muttalip Bay have attended practical job training in Jadan Automatyka Przemys³owa. They received a practical training in the field of industrial automation. Their main working fields were creating programmes with SAIA PCD1, testing these programmes with SAIA Demo Set, assisting by programming, assembling and repairing Danfoss motor drivers, setting up a control panel system, programming of Siemens Sitrans measuring tools, setting up and operating of OEM safety system as well as setting up of Siemens S7-200 Simatic PLC driver
During their free time beneficiaries organized trips to different cities – Warsaw, Kraków and Poznan. They gained information about the whole Poland, its customs and tradition. It gave them the overview of Polish culture and believes.

On Tuesday, 7
th of February 2006, the students were transported to the airport, from where they flew back to Turkey via Warsaw.
