Trainees in front of Kombi-Projekt factoryBeneficiaries arrived in the morning on 1st July 2007 at the main bus station in Wroc³aw. FUTURUM team picked them up. They were transported to their apartments and checked in.

On Monday, 2
nd July, they were introduced by the companies where they started their placements afterwards. They were placed in the companies as follows:

During next weeks the beneficiaries continued working in their companies. They went to work every day for six hours. They were conducting tasks given to them by their tutors.

All the beneficiaries performed the training programme focused on following activities:

  • getting acquainted with instructions on safety at work

  • production techniques of boards for furniture manufacturing

  • initial processing of the wood based materials

  • applying different materials and technologies in the second mechanical processing

  • methods used for furniture surface processing

  • production of upholstered items

Bulgarian trainees at workOn first weekend a group was taken for a guided tour through the city of Wroc³aw. They visited the modern centre as well as the old town, got to know the history of the city and the most popular places there.

During their free time, beneficiaries organized trips to different places in Wroc³aw. They gained information about the city and region, its customs and tradition. It gave them the overview of Polish culture and believes.

On Saturday, 4
th of August the students were taken to the bus station and travelled back to Bulgaria.
