The internship within this program is focused on explanation of each stage of clothes production. Special concern is put on desi
gning and cutting, the beneficiaries practice also the use of button inputting machine and equipment for decorative stitches. They learn how patterns are prepared for cutting in a computer programme and then sent over to a plotter. They attend machine cutting as well as cutting by hand. They also get acquainted with quality control in different divisions and with work organisation of the factory. Their course of fashion design includes preparing their own patterns and cutting out the models. They learn how to choose appropriate textile for a particular cloth and how to adjust a cloth to different types of figures. They create their own models and put them on the manikins. The program is often widened by visits to vocational school of sewing and attendance in practical classes there.
