Trainees at the reception deskThe program develops the beneficiaries’ basic abilities in managing a hotel enterprise. The beneficiaries get a practical training in a local hotel or hostel on operating a reception desk and clients service, housekeeping and food and beverage service. Under an oversight of professionals the trainees work at a reception desk doing check-in and check-out of visitors, operate the hotel booking system, tend to the visitors’ everyday needs and requirements. The trainees also assist at the hotel kitchen and restaurant waiting tables and assisting the chef. The trainees also cover shifts in housekeeping during which they clean rooms and change beds and they also need to coordinate their work with the maintenance and repair units. The training covers main pillars of hotel management preparing the beneficiaries to establish their own hotel business enterprise.
