Marcin gained experience in the early 2000s working in a host organization in Germany, and later, after Poland’s accession to the EU, he created Futurum from scratch.

- From IX 2004: Futurum – Coordination of EU Projects – Founder and CEO of the company providing consulting and traineeship intermediatiary services within EU funded educational programs.
- IX 2002 – III 2004: Vitalis GmbH, Leipzig, Germany – International Cooperation Department – coordination of mobility projects implemented by the company, representing the company abroad; negotiations of partnership agreements, drawing up applications for co-financing projects from EU funds to the German National Agency Leonardo da Vinci.
